This is one of the most popular brushless outrunner motors among RC hobbyists. It is equivalent to E-flite Park 400, AXI 2212, or Turnigy 28–30 sizes. It is an excellent replacement for Speed 400 motors in 3D aeroplanes up to 15 oz, trainers up to 25 oz, and gliders up to 28 oz. We suggest propping for around 150 watts of continuous power with short bursts up to 180 watts.

The motor features a 3.17-mm hardened steel shaft and dual ball bearings for a smooth and steady rotating motion. A bullet-type propeller adapter and cross-motor mount are included.

We recommend the following setup for the motor:

• 3S LiPo, 1000–1800 mAh according to aircraft weight,
• 25 or 30A ESC,
• 9x4.7 or 10x5 propellers.
