Product Details

The Creality Ender-3 V4 represents a modern evolution of the classic Ender series, transforming it from a budget tinker-machine into an integrated, high-speed, multicolor-capable desktop printer. Shifting away from multi-piece frame assemblies, the V4 utilizes an ultra-stable, die-cast aluminum unibody gantry that minimizes wobble during high-speed movements. It is designed to offer a user-friendly, "one-tap" experience for both beginners and experienced makers.

Key Features

  • Native CFS Multicolor System: The standout feature of the Ender-3 V4 is its native compatibility with the Creality Filament System (CFS) box. A single CFS unit holds 4 spools, but the printer can be expanded up to 4 chained CFS units to print in up to 16 colors automatically with clean transitions.
  • Aerospace-Grade Unibody Gantry: Built as a seamless, die-cast loop, the frame reduces resonance and axis shaking, facilitating clean prints even at its peak velocity of 500 mm/s.
  • Input Shaping Vibration Compensation: Uses an onboard G-sensor to map out and counteract high-speed mechanical vibrations, effectively removing the ghosting/ringing ripples that often plague fast open-frame printers.
  • Magnetic Quick-Swap Nozzle: The toolhead cover pops off magnetically, allowing you to quickly swap out worn nozzles or change sizes without wrestling with specialized wrenches or risk shearing the heat break.
  • Smart Autonomous Calibration: Includes completely automated pre-print routines, taking care of self-checks, automatic bed mesh calculation, and precise Z-offset adjustments without manual interaction.

Pinout & Connection Interfaces

  • Power Input: 100–240V AC, 50/60Hz (900W rated power consumption).
  • Communication Ports: Onboard Wi-Fi transmitter for remote monitoring, accompanied by a front-facing USB port for offline manual printing via flash storage.
  • CFS Extension Port: Dedicated communication port at the base to link and sync data with the smart RFID-enabled filament switching boxes.

Supported Materials & Printing Performance

  • Hyper-PLA & PLA: Best printed with a hotend at 190–220°C and a bed at 50–60°C. Optimized for speeds above 300 mm/s using specialized high-flow or Hyper filaments.
  • PETG: Best printed with a hotend at 230–250°C and a bed at 70–85°C. Yields exceptional impact resistance for functional structures.
  • TPU 95A (Flexibles): The dual-gear direct-drive system guides flexible lines straight into the hot zone without twisting or jamming. Best run at reduced speeds (30–40 mm/s) at 220–240°C.
  • ABS / ASA / Carbon-Fiber Composites: The hardened components tolerate high abrasiveness up to 300°C. For warp-prone elements like ABS, a physical enclosure or draft-shield option inside the slicer is recommended to handle ambient temperature shifts.

Usage Tips

  • First Layer Optimization: The single-piece uniform heating bed paired with the PEI textured sheet offers incredible adhesion. Allow the plate to cool completely before lifting; prints will pop off cleanly when cold.
  • CFS Spool Management: The CFS multi-material attachment reads official Creality RFID filament spools automatically, setting correct temperatures inside your slicer without manual mapping. Avoid using warped cardboard spools inside the organizer box to prevent automated feeder jams.
  • Leveling Maintenance: While the one-tap calibration handles the math, periodically inspect the flexible PEI plate for skin oils. A quick wipe down with Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) preserves the absolute calibration mesh.
