This 550 DC Motor is used mainly for RC racing cars and DIY drilling. It supports 6V to 12V with maximum 22,000 RPM. However, it is not recommended to operate this motor without a motor driver. Especially giving direct voltage over 12V is not recommended without a motor driver such as a PWM based motor driver, unless special cooling techniques are used to keep the motor parts below the melting temperature.
