Usage Tips
- Dedicated 4S Balance Charging (Mandatory): Always charge using a dedicated LiPo balance charger set strictly to 4S LiPo mode (14.8V nominal / 16.8V max) in Balance Charge Mode. Always connect both the main XT60 plug and the 5-pin JST-XH balance lead to ensure balanced cell voltages.
- Charging Current Guideline: Charge at 1C (2.2A) for regular usage. Never charge unattended, and always charge on a fireproof surface inside a flame-resistant LiPo safety bag or metal ammo can.
- Discharge Thresholds & Cutoff Setup:
- Maximum Charged Limit: 4.20V per cell (16.80V total). Never overcharge.
- Safe Flight Cut-Off: Configure your flight controller (Betaflight / INAV) or ESC low-voltage cutoff (LVC) to 3.5V–3.6V per cell (14.0V–14.4V total). Discharging below 3.0V per cell (12.0V total) causes irreversible cell damage, increased internal resistance, and swelling (puffing).
