When crimping an RJ45 connector onto a CAT5e/CAT6 cable, our RJ45 strain relief boots are used not only to prevent release tabs from being snagged or snapped off your RJ45 connectors, but they also provide strain relief for your freshly crimped cables (allowing them to be bent in a multitude of directions without causing damage).

Installation:

• Before crimping an RJ45 connector onto the end of your chosen cable, simply slide a cable strain relief boot over down the cable. This can then be pushed back up to RJ45 connector after the connector has been crimped onto the cable.
