Setup and App Pairing Guide

  1. Connect a stable 7V–12V DC power source to the input power terminals, observing correct polarity.
  2. Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network with Bluetooth enabled.
  3. Open the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app, tap the + icon in the upper-right corner, and select Add Device.
  4. Power cycle the module if needed, and verify the network status LED is flashing rapidly.
  5. If the indicator does not flash, press and hold the Set button for approximately 10 seconds until the LED flashes rapidly to enter pairing mode.
  6. Confirm your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network credentials in the app to complete onboarding.

App Configuration Instructions

1. Channel Action Modes

  • Self-Locking: Standard latching toggle. Press once to engage the relay; press again to release.
  • Jog (Inching): Momentary activation. Engaging the relay causes it to automatically release after a configured time delay (default ~0.5s).
  • Fully Open: Turns all 12 channels ON simultaneously.
  • Fully Close: Turns all 12 channels OFF simultaneously.
  • Delay / Timer: Schedules delayed activation or shutdown using countdowns or calendar timers.

2. Inching (Jog) Settings

  • Select the channel number to display its current jog interval.
  • Enter the desired pulse duration in milliseconds (valid range: 1 to 999,999,999 ms). For example, entering 500 produces a 0.5-second pulse.
  • Enter 0 to disable the jog function and return that channel to standard latching mode.

3. Interlock Group Settings

  • Channels 1 and 2 Interlocked: Enter 2 in the top parameter and 2 in the bottom parameter.
  • Channels 1, 2, and 3 Interlocked: Enter 3 in the top parameter and 3 in the bottom parameter.
  • Channels 1 through 10 Interlocked: Enter 10 in the top parameter and 10 in the bottom parameter.
  • Dual 2-Channel Pairs (1-2 and 3-4): Enter 4 in the top parameter and 2 in the bottom parameter.
  • Four 2-Channel Pairs (1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8): Enter 8 in the top parameter and 2 in the bottom parameter.
  • Dual 5-Channel Groups (1 to 5 and 6 to 10): Enter 10 in the top parameter and 5 in the bottom parameter.
  • Disable All Interlocking: Enter 0 in both top and bottom parameters.

4. Power-On State Settings

  • Select the target channel number and configure its power-restoration response code:
    • Enter 1: Channel automatically switches ON upon boot.
    • Enter 2: Channel defaults to OFF upon boot.
    • Enter 3: Channel restores its previous state prior to power loss.
    • Enter 4: Channel is forced ON and app control is locked out.

5. Factory Reset Procedure

  • Press and hold the Set button for 10 seconds. Release the button when the network LED flashes rapidly. All pairing data, interlock settings, and custom timers will be cleared.
