Setup and App Pairing Guide

1. Power the module using 85-250V AC on the main power terminals, or plug in a standard 5V Type-C cable for bench configuration.
2. Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network with Bluetooth enabled.
3. Open the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app, tap the + icon in the upper-right corner, and select Add Device.
4. If the module indicator light does not flash automatically, press and hold the Set button for approximately 10 seconds until the network indicator flashes rapidly, indicating pairing mode.
5. Confirm the Wi-Fi credentials in the app to complete the pairing process.

App Configuration Instructions

1. Channel Action Modes

• Self-Locking: Standard latching toggle. Press once to turn the relay on; press again to turn it off.
• Inching / Jog: Press to engage the relay; it automatically disengages after a predefined duration (e.g., 500 ms).
• Fully Open: Turns all 16 channels on simultaneously.
• Fully Close: Turns all 16 channels off simultaneously.
• Delay / Timer: Schedules future turn-on or turn-off actions based on fixed countdowns or real-time clock triggers.

2. Inching (Jog) Settings

• Select the channel number to view its current inching duration.
• Enter the desired time value in milliseconds (range: 1 to 999,999,999 ms). For example, entering 500 configures a half-second momentary pulse.
• Entering 0 disables the jog function on that channel, returning it to standard latching mode.

3. Interlock Group Settings

• Channels 1 and 2 Interlocked: Enter 2 in the top parameter and 2 in the bottom parameter.
• Channels 1, 2, and 3 Interlocked: Enter 3 in the top parameter and 3 in the bottom parameter.
• Channels 1 through 10 Interlocked: Enter 10 in the top parameter and 10 in the bottom parameter.
• Dual 2-Channel Pairs (1-2 and 3-4): Enter 4 in the top parameter and 2 in the bottom parameter.
• Four 2-Channel Pairs (1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8): Enter 8 in the top parameter and 2 in the bottom parameter.

4. Power-On State Settings

• Select the target channel number and assign the corresponding numerical state code:
  • Enter 1: Channel automatically switches ON upon power restoration.
  • Enter 2: Channel defaults to OFF upon power restoration.
  • Enter 3: Channel restores its previous state prior to the power failure.
  • Enter 4: Channel is forced ON and locked out from smartphone app operation.

5. Factory Reset Procedure

• Press and hold the physical Set button for 10 seconds. Release the button as soon as the network indicator LED begins flashing rapidly. All app assignments and custom timing parameters will reset to default.
