The eSUN eVacuum Kit Pro 3 is a vacuum-storage kit made for preserving 3D printer filament (and other consumables) that absorb moisture. It allows you to store filament in vacuum-sealed bags with desiccant so as to prevent water absorption, which can degrade print quality.

    It helps prevent moisture uptake by filament materials that are sensitive to water (e.g. PVA, ePA, ABSMAX, TPU-95A, etc.).

Usage Tips :

  • Put the filament spool(s), the desiccant, and humidity indicator (if included) into one of the vacuum bags. 
  • Squeeze out as much air manually as possible, then seal the bag temporarily using a sealing clip. 
  • Place the pump’s nozzle over the bag’s air valve, ensure good contact, then turn on the pump to extract air. 
  • Once the air is evacuated, press the valve flat (seal)/ensure the closure is properly sealed.
  • Store the sealed bag in a dry, cool place. Avoid exposure to sunlight, moisture, etc.
  • The vacuum does reduce air / humidity but might not reach a perfect vacuum, so very high humidity or very hygroscopic filament may still need extra drying.
  • The sealing zipper + clip + valve all must be properly closed / aligned; if any part leaks, moisture can still get in.
  • Over time, the desiccant will saturate and may need replacement. Watch the color-change indicator (if available).
  • Bags have a limited lifespan; repeated folding, puncturing, or incorrect handling (e.g. sharp edges, sunlight) may degrade them.

Applications :

  • Filaments that absorb moisture quickly: PVA, Nylon (PA, etc.), ePA-CF, ePA-GF, TPU-95A, etc. 
  • Any filament you don’t use immediately after opening.
  • Printing in environments with high ambient humidity.
