Usage Tips
- Protective Film Management (CRITICAL):
- Do not remove the protective paper or PE film before laser cutting, sawing, or drilling.
- Keeping the mask on prevents vaporized acrylic condensates, scorch smoke, and workbench abrasions from marring the glossy white face. Peel off the film only after all processing and deburring is finished.
- CO2 Laser Bed Settings:
- For typical 40W to 80W CO2 laser machines, cut at moderate travel speeds with high air assist (15 to 20 psi). Air assist extinguishes flare-ups and blows vaporized gas out of the cut furrow, ensuring clean, melted-glass edges.
- When vector engraving or etching graphics, reduce laser power to prevent heavy trenching or excessive thermal distortion on 2mm stock.
