The 74LS245 is an 8-bit transceiver with 3-state outputs. The device features an output enable (OE) and send/receive (DIR) for direction control. A HIGH on OE causes the outputs to assume a high-impedance OFF-state. Inputs include clamp diodes. This enables the use of current limiting resistors to interface inputs to voltages in excess of Vcc.

NOTE: HC version is the high speed CMOS version which we may supply due to availability. It is fully compatible with LS version and one to one replaceable (not vice versa as HC version has more features)
